Houston, Texas, USA – April 21, 2024 – The Philippine Robotics National Team, represented by the De La Salle Santiago Zobel Explore Team, ages 6 to 9, proudly secured the prestigious Team Model Award in the Explore Category during the FIRST LEGO League World Championship 2024 held in Houston, Texas, USA.
The Explore Team’s outstanding performance earned them the equivalent of a gold award, highlighting their dedication, innovation, and teamwork. Their remarkable achievement underscores the Philippines’ growing prowess in the field of robotics and STEM education.
Additionally, the De La Salle Santiago Zobel Challenge Team showcased exceptional skills, securing the 27th position out of 154 teams in the Robot Game category. Their impressive ranking demonstrates their commitment to excellence and determination in the face of fierce competition.
