Future Innovators Hub launched at the Phillipine Science Heritage Center

A New Haven for the Next Generation of Filipino Scientists, Innovators, and Robotics Champions

The Philippine Science Heritage Center (PSHC), a premier science center in the country managed by the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL), proudly launches the Future Innovators Hub at the PSHC, DOST Compound last September 17,2026 at DOST Main compound,Taguig City.

Mandated by Republic Act No. 9107, the Philippine Science Heritage Center serves as the country’s main repository and showcase of the achievements, discoveries, and contributions of Filipino scientists to science, technology, and national development.

The launch of the Future Innovators Hub is one of the flagship initiatives commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines. The Salin-Kaalaman Caravan was launched as a mobile science museum that brings Philippine Science Heritage directly to communities across the country. It represents a significant step toward inspiring young Filipinos to pursue excellence in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, innovation, and research.

The Future Innovators Hub was made possible through the contribution and support of FELTA Multi-Media Inc., which is celebrating its 60th Anniversary, together with the 25th Anniversary of the Philippine Robotics Olympiad, now known as World Robot Olympiad Philippines. “Today is truly a milestone, as we are not simply opening a new space at Philippine Science Heritage Center but we are opening a door to the FUTURE”, Mylene Abiva, President/ CEO, FELTA Multi-Media Inc.

For FELTA, the establishment of the Hub is a meaningful milestone in its six decades of commitment to education, innovation, and the development of Filipino learners. For 25 years, the Philippine Robotics Program has provided Filipino students with opportunities to discover robotics, computational thinking, engineering, and problem-solving, while competing and collaborating with young innovators from around the world.

The Future Innovators Hub will serve as a haven where young Filipinos can explore ideas, experiment with technology, develop solutions, and discover their potential as future scientists, engineers, inventors, entrepreneurs, and global innovators.

More than a physical space, the Hub symbolizes a shared commitment to building a culture of innovation and scientific excellence among Filipino youth. It seeks to connect the country’s rich scientific heritage with the possibilities of the future—encouraging the next generation to learn from the achievements of Filipino scientists while creating new solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.
