A significant milestone in advancing science education and innovation in the Philippines was marked by the partnership between FELTA Multi-Media Inc. and the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL) through the establishment of the Future Innovators Hub at the Philippine Science Heritage Center (PSHC).
The National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL) is an attached agency of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). It is mandated to manage, operate, and maintain the Philippine Science Heritage Center (PSHC) under Republic Act No. 9107, otherwise known as “An Act Promoting and Preserving Science and Technology Resources of the Country Establishing for this Purpose the Philippine Science Heritage Center.” Through this mandate, NAST PHL plays a vital role in preserving the nation’s scientific heritage while fostering public appreciation and understanding of science and technology.
In celebration of its 60th Anniversary, FELTA Multi-Media Inc. entered into a sponsorship partnership with NAST PHL to establish the Future Innovators Hub, a dedicated learning gallery aimed at inspiring young minds and nurturing the next generation of Filipino innovators. FELTA is mandated to provide quality education to Filipino learners and to prepare them for the challenges of the future by ensuring transformative lifelong learning opportunities for all—a mission that aligns closely with the goals of NAST and the PSHC.
Under the partnership, NAST PHL assigned a 183-square-meter area on the first floor of the PSHC as the site of the gallery entitled “Future Innovators.” In turn, FELTA Multi-Media Inc. committed to providing interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and learning modules that will serve as the core educational components of the Future Innovators Hub. These exhibits are designed to promote curiosity, creativity, and engagement in science, technology, and innovation through immersive and learner-centered experiences.
The partnership was formally sealed during a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held on December 16, 2025, coinciding with the double 50th Anniversary of the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) and the Philippine Science Heritage Center (PSHC)—a momentous occasion celebrating five decades of scientific leadership and heritage preservation.
The MOA was signed by Academician Jaime C. Montoya, President of NAST Philippines; Director Luningning E. Samarita-Domingo, NAST-DOST; Mylene Abiva, President and CEO of FELTA Multi-Media Inc.; and Jed Abiva Sazon, Brand Activation Officer of FELTA Multi-Media Inc. The event was further highlighted by the presence of DOST Secretary Renato Solidum, who served as the Keynote Speaker and Guest of Honor, underscoring the national importance of the collaboration.
Through the Future Innovators Hub, FELTA Multi-Media Inc. and NAST Philippines reaffirm their shared commitment to science education, innovation, and nation-building. This partnership not only celebrates institutional milestones but also lays the groundwork for empowering Filipino learners to imagine, create, and lead in an increasingly science- and technology-driven future.
