FELTA Multi-Media Inc. MOA Signing with Valenzuela Technological College (ValTech)

Valenzuela Technological College (ValTech) officially opened its doors on August 11, 2025, in a grand launch ceremony led by Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, marking a significant milestone in advancing technical education and innovation in the city.

The event was highlighted by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between FELTA Multi-Media Inc., represented by its President and CEO Mylene Abiva and Brand Activation Officer Jed Abiva Sazon, as a partner donor for the Robotics Laboratory at ValTech’s Mechatronics Facility. The partnership underscores a shared commitment to equip students with future-ready skills in robotics, automation, and emerging technologies.

The launch drew a roster of high-profile guests, including Department of Information and Communications Technology Secretary Henry Aguda, Department of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Secretary Francisco Benitez, and former Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, now serving as Vice-Chair of ValTech. ValTech President Yolanda Gadon and Valenzuela City officials were also present, alongside excited faculty members and students eager to begin their journey in the cutting-edge campus.
In his keynote message, Mayor Gatchalian emphasized ValTech’s vision as a premier hub for technical and vocational excellence, serving not only Valenzuela but the wider region. “ValTech is a bold investment in our youth’s future, ensuring they are equipped with skills that meet the demands of Industry 4.0,” he said.

Adding to the historic day, the campus grounds became home to the newly unveiled SIKHAY sculpture — a striking work symbolizing perseverance, innovation, and the city’s relentless drive toward progress.

With state-of-the-art facilities, strong industry linkages, and the support of partners like FELTA Multi-Media Inc., Valenzuela Technological College is poised to become a leader in technical education, nurturing the next generation of engineers, innovators, and industry professionals.
