FELTA Techvoc Academy and the FELTA Innovation and Training Team were invited by Taipei Municipal Jinhe School for an intensive Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Technical Workshop, where participants engaged in advanced robotics concepts including:
AMR navigation and obstacle avoidance
Sensor integration and robot mapping
Robot mission planning and task automation
AI-assisted robotic control and teamwork mechanisms
The workshop enabled an exciting exchange of pedagogical strategies, technical expertise, and best practices in integrating
mobile robotics in K–12 and technical-vocational training.
Hands-on Learning and Cultural Exchange
Participants worked collaboratively in mixed teams—Filipino and Taiwanese students and teachers—strengthening cross-cultural understanding while advancing technical skills. FELTA Techvoc Academy mentors introduced approaches to preparing learners for WorldSkills, Robotics Olympiads, and AI-driven competitions.
Friendship Competition: A Showcase of Youth Robotics Excellence
The week also featured an AMR Friendship Competition, providing a friendly platform for demonstrating teamwork and innovation. Teams navigated AMRs through mission-based tasks such as:
Pathfinding challenges
Object transport and delivery
Multi-robot coordination scenarios
The competition embodied the spirit of learning, collaboration, and sportsmanship—reinforcing the belief that robotics education brings nations together through technology.
Visit to WorldSkills ASIA Taipei 2025 – Autonomous Mobile Robotics
A highlight of the visit was an exclusive educational tour of the WorldSkills ASIA Taipei 2025 Autonomous Mobile Robotics arena at the Nangang Exhibition Center.
