Philippine Robotics National Team Crowned Champion in RoboSports at the World Robot Olympiad 2025

Singapore — November 25–30, 2025

The Philippine Robotics National Team achieved a historic victory at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Finals 2025, winning the CHAMPIONSHIP title in the RoboSports Category held at the prestigious Marina Bay Sands Convention Center in Singapore.

Competing against the world’s best young roboticists from 91 participating countries, the Filipino delegation showcased exceptional innovation, teamwork, and engineering brilliance—culminating in a proud moment for the nation. The RoboSports category challenges teams to design and build fully autonomous robots that compete in a fast-paced sports match.

For 2025, the theme was “Double Tennis”, a game requiring speed, precision, AI-driven strategy, and flawless robot coordination.
The Philippine team delivered a dominant performance throughout the rounds, demonstrating technical mastery, well-engineered robot design, and world-class programming capability.
