Congratulations to the Philippine Robotics National Team, represented by De La Salle Zobel (DLSZ), for winning 3rd Place Overall in the Champion Award for the Explore Category at the FIRST LEGO League Asia Open Championship 2026!
Our young Filipino innovators, ages 6–10, proudly carried the Philippine flag on the international stage from August 13–16, 2026, at the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center in Beijing, China.
Inspired by this year’s archaeology-themed challenge, “UNEARTHED,” the championship brought together 500 teams from more than 30 countries to demonstrate their skills in robotics, coding, creative problem-solving, and innovation.
More than an award, this achievement reflects the children’s curiosity, courage, teamwork, and countless hours of preparation. It also honors the dedication of their coaches, mentors, teachers, and families who believed in them and supported them throughout the journey.
To our young champions: may this victory inspire you to keep exploring, building, and using technology to create a better future. You have shown the world what young Filipino minds can accomplish. We are incredibly proud of you!
