Philippines Robotics Team makes Automated Robot Alcohol Dispensers to fight COVID-19 Virus

The Philippines LUZON island including Metro Manila is in “Community Quarantine” from March 16- April ,2020. Philippine Robotics National team took action and used Technology to help fight Covid-19 Virus.
Dr. Yanga’s College Inc., Robotics Head Coach , Beryl Cruz with the support of DYCI President Michael Yanga in cooperation with Mylene Abiva (FELTA Multi-Media Inc.) conceptualized the AUTOMATED ROBOT ALCOHOL DISPENSERS for use by the public in Bocaue, Bulacan and Malolos, Bulacan.
Bocaue Mayor Joni Villanueva shared that they use the robotic dispensers in the municipality’s public market that can automatically pour rubbing alcohol. Also used in St. Martin Church and Yanga Hospital.
The dispensers, made with LEGO Education EV3 and sensors to give the exact amount of alcohol for the public. Therefore, no wastage and provides protection for the people.
