SEARCA SHARING Hub Grand Launch at SEARCA University of the Philippines Los Banos

Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) in University of the Philippines Los Banos launched the SEARCA Hub for Agriculture and Rural Innovation for the Next Generation or SHARING last August 12,2022.

Guest of Honor is Former DepEd Secretary Leonor Magtolis- Briones who received a portrait made out of 20,000 different grains of rice and a Tri Color Gumamela plant named after her, called “ Liling”. The Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor – Leste H.E. Ambassador Jose Gaspar was also a special guest.

FELTA Multi Media is. partner of SEARCA for the Makerspace / SHARING Cafe with LEGO Education robotics and Modules on AGRIBOT. 3 in 1, 3D Printer, Robot Arm, Interactive Panel Board and INTEL Ruggedized devices.

FELTA President / CEO Mylene Abiva, SEARCA Director Dr Glenn B Gregorio, Glenn Navarra Baticados, Former DepEd Secretary Briones, Timor Leste Ambassador Peadade and SEARCA Deputy Director Joselito Florendo led the grand launch.

SEARCA Sharing is an interactive museum to promote farming innovation to learners in post pandemic normal, while SEARCA iCreate by FELTA Multi-Media Inc provides a Makerspace and a training facility for Robotics, Prototyping and Design Thinking.
