) is an annual scientific and technology event that highlights the Robotics Technology skills of students. 21st century skills of critical thinking, STEM, collaboration, team work and design thinking to prepare the Filipino youth to be the future of workforce and economic development.Mayor Arlene Arcillas (City of Sta Rosa, Laguna) hosted the event and Mayor Mikkhaelle Mercado (City of San Pedro, Laguna) delivered the Keynote Address in behalf of Vice President of the Philippines and Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte. FELTA President/ CEO, Mylene Abiva gave the Opening Remarks and shared valuable information on the importance of Inquiry Science Based Education (ISBE) through Robotics Technology in Education.
Public and private schools from Laguna, Metro Manila, Bulacan, Bataan, Cabanatuan, Pampanga, Zambales, and other areas participated. Coaches meeting was also held to discuss the 21st PRO / World Robot Olympiad Philippines Guidelines, Rules & Regulations.
Preliminaries and Finals will be held on September 19-23, 2022 at SM North EDSA. Philippine Robotics Olympiad is the largest and longest running Robotics competition in the Philippines
