Philippine Robotics National team DYCI Primes won Gold Score Ranking and Bronze Award at World Robot Olympiad Germany 2022

World Robot Olympiad Germany 2022 is the largest international event with 372 teams from 73 countries. WRO is an annual science and technology event and competition that showcase the brilliance of students from all over the world through Robotics.

After 3 years of virtual competition, the Philippine Robotics National Team participated once again in a physical World Robot Olympiad Germany 2022 held last November 14-21, 2022 in Dortmund, Germany . FELTA Multi-Media Inc. President/ CEO Mylene Abiva is the National Organizer for the Philippine Robotics National Team.

The theme of the 2022 WRO season is: My Robot My Friend!

Robots are becoming increasingly important in a wide variety of areas of life. While they have long been indispensable in the automation of industrial production, they are also gradually conquering our everyday lives. Robots can now be found in many households, taking over the vacuuming of the apartment, for example. The 2022 season will explore areas of life in which robots will play a more important role in the future and act as companions or friends to people.

The Philippine Robotics National team garnered top awards at WRO Germany 2022 led by DYCI Primes , Gold Score Ranking and Bronze Award for Future Innovators (Junior HS Level) with Aiding the Mute-Deaf towards Inclusivity Through Communication and Understanding the Society (AMICUS) Robot , an inclusive invention that can be a friend to deaf and mute individuals by helping them break communication barriers through interacting with and understanding society.
